Description:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
This addon contains the Strykers from ArmA 1 converted to ArmA 2.
All models are based on the BIS sample models released for Arma 1.

I wanted to see some Strykers for our private coops,
and since i didnt find any out yet i decided to convert
the ArmA 1 ones until something better gets out.

Latest changes:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
v1.0
Binarized and signed
hiddenSelections for easy retexturing.
shouldnt have any serious error messages.


Future plans:

Maybe supershaders
Working destroyable tyres, when it is figured out.
More textures if i can find some good help, OD, Desert atleast.
If some good modeler want to work more with them, help out make the MGS version.

@<hidden>: Yeah, id love to see more Stryker models, and with the slat armor and all that, unfortunately im not a modeler, so unless someone else is interested in helping out on doing that, we all have to wait for ACE2 i guess.

Hit the 0 key on your number pad. ;)

And I've noticed that the .50's scope is zeroed at like 50 meters. I'd like it if it were zeroed at like 200 or so, same with the Mk.19.

No, they don't have desert skin. They are all olive drab.

seems like they might be getting TAN to.. though..

And yes.. the plan is to have both OD and TAN.. i think.. as long as i find someone who can make really good versions of the texture.. :)

man this is great, thanks Stiltman! I've had Strykers at the top of my wish list for addons since A2 came out. Would be cool if you could work with Binkowski and maybe get his US Army 2009 Crewmen in the Strykers by default rather than the USMC. not that the scripting takes that long, but ya know... :p

One cannot control the MG (neither the AGL) when turned out, they are controlled from the vehicle's inner terminal with a joystick

Once saw some supporting Strykers with cannon in ACE mod of ARMA1. Maybe such stuff still has to be from ACE for ARMA2?

Is it possible to creat an extra seat in the back of the Strykers? As shown at the picture below there's not room enough for the entire platoon in all 4 Strykers... - by that I mean the Plt HQ.
I suppose that the HQ rides in one Stryker each, and since a Stryker contains seats for 2 + 9 soldiers 2 soldiers from the Plt HQ will be left behind (at least in ArmA 2) ;)
