Crash when taking Laser Designator as Russian

OFP crashes when I take the laser designator from a dead soldier when I am playing on the side of the russians.
I know, as a russian there is not much use for the laser designator but anyway it is bad that ofp crashes.

havent read the faq myself but i did just try the laser with a russian heavy gren..... no crash tried all veiws including the third person veiw it worked fine for me. sounds like it might be 1.27/1.29 weapons conflicting with 1.30 or something like that.

The crashes are happenning to people who have done a clean 1.20>1.30 install.

Personally, the LTD is working on my PC.

Hellek, do you have any user addons installed, such as Gunslinger's Editor Update or others? If you do, if you remove them from the ADDONS folder, does the problem continue?

ah i see. well it still doesnt happen to me and i also have done a clean 1.20 to 1.30 upgrade. also hellek didnt happen to mention his version or upgrade status. maybe its also a different soldier other than the one i tried. it could be a million things i guess.
