New Sniper Concept need help?

I am new to ArmA2 Editing and have had an idea of a sniper unit i would like to create however im not sure if it would be possible any suggestions would be helpfull.
The basic concept is to have a standard soldier having the ability to carry a sniper rifle on his back aswell as his standard infantry assault rifle. Maybe the sniper rifle could be placed instead of the sidearm any ideas on how or even if this is possible thanks you

Something like that was already achieved in ACE1 for ArmA and before that in a mission script from Sanders if i'm not mistaken, anyway this will be quite surely in ACE2 :)
