Am using the latest beta which i am enjoying quite a lot. thanks bis. however i was a little SHOCKED to see that the suppress command was still in the menu even though it hasn't worked since the game was 1st released.

i mean press space bar when giving infantry commands and there it is. 2nd (or is it 3rd?) command from the top. proudly sitting there in all it's unworking glory. makes it feel like the game is unfinished when in fact a lot of progress has been made.

perhaps, this command can be made to work? that'd be nice. and useful in game as well.

:yay:

agreed. might be a bit difficult to get the AI to know when to cease suppression so that they don't run out of ammo. I hope BIS is working on this

yep, hope they will get it working... i think it would probably work like SLX way of suppression, by giving an invisi target (I assume so as I heard the AI call out, "2, target that, target/position".

In real life... was it the 3 mag rules that dictates the soldier's action to cease suppression? Maybe BIS can put that logic check to cease it. I hope

Indeed it's a shame that the "suppress" command still does not work after many months (and patches) passed by.
