What is going on?

I finally got this game working after trying to reinstall it
20 times and reformated my hard drive just to apply the 1.30 "patch" i did manage to patch it, just to start playing it and finish the first training mission just when the officer tells my is ok bam the game crashes to the desktop with no warnings, i wonder if there anyone else out there with the same problem?


Now that i look back i was thinking in buying "ghost recon" i dont know why i got this game in the first place.........

You're not going to like this but search The FAQ (http://www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/) for "menu bug". That's what it sounds like from your description. You're the first I've heard from that had this on the 1st campaign mission.

Are you having other problems with your system? It looks to me like you may have an underlying h/w or config fault...

If you are having other problems, post detailed information on EVERYTHING you're using on you computer...
