I'm not sure if this is technically correct or not but it was very confusing. When I read the readme for the latest beta build, I read it as "for 1.03." Having patched my game to 1.04 final I initially assumed that a beta build based on 1.03 would be incompatible with 1.04.
What would happen installing 1.04.59210 beta over a copy of ArmA2 1.03 final? I have no idea. If it's OK to install 1.04.59210 over 1.04 or 1.03 then the readme should reflect that. Stating "1.03" required would then not be true.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
-----------------------------------------
- ANY ORIGINAL VERSION OF ARMA 2 from 1.03 (including Steam version)
- DirectX 9 March 2009 is required
"From 1.03" means 1.03+? That is not good language. Better language is "ANY ORIGINAL VERSION OF ARMA 2 version 1.03 or newer."
