in game Textures Funky colors

Hey All,
Athlon 600
Savage S4 card
128k Ram
win xp

I installed op flashpoint and once inside game it will give all sorts of wierd artifacts at the soldiers note planner and then inside mission the textures of the trees and building sides are bright pinkish and blueish colors....  I found a driver for the  vid card online but don't know enough about xp to know if i should update or not.  if it isn't the vid drivers any ideas?  Is there a source for what all the settings in the preferences panel mean? How bout what all the commands are for the soldiers and such?

I should have read your post first. I just posted a topic about texture trouble in XP too with an S3 Savage 4 card. Seems to be an XP/Savage4 thing.

Have you tried the compatiblity wizard? Not sure if that would help. Might be a driver problem in XP....maybe rollback the driver?

Windows XP has a nifty little thing called the "Compatiablity Wizard". If a program that was working before ISN'T working now...you run that and and it asks you game specific questions (last WORKING OS, resolution, etc.), and adjusts the program to run with those properties. That is how I got Civilization 3 to work through XP actually....works like a charm.
