Hi.

Every time I attempt to play OFP, the terrain is all white.  I've seen this post in many, MANY other threads, and all the people have an intel 810 integrated graphics chipset like me.  I've heard that the bug is due to multi-texturing problems with the graphics card, but I've played other games that use multi-texturing and work just fine.  Serious Sam is an example.  I was wondering if the newest patch fixes this error by allowing users to disable multi-texturing.  If not, is there some command line that allows you to do so (ie. -nomultitexture)?  I would really like it if someone helped, because I want to play the game on a textured island, not a bland white one.

As my mommy always says: you are what you've got onboard. Well, that's not exactly what she said but it sorta means the same thing.

The Intel i810 chipsets don't provide enough texture memory, so the textures are simply missing. OFP requires a minimum of 16MB of video memory, which the i810 family chipsets with their shared memory architecture can't provide.

You can try switching to the smallest texture sizes and 16-bit color in the OFP Preferences program to see if that will allow all textures to fit, but I have no idea if that will be enough -- try it and let us know what happens.
