Hi everybody,
I just downloaded the PBO exctractor utility, and as I wanted to change some rifle sounds, I was wondering how can I hear that "wss" (or something similiar) type of file.
Do I need a special utility downloadable from the net?
I so, please could you give me the address please?
Or otherwise, let me know!

the PBOs have nothing to do with general sounds in the game
they add player voice, "new added FX" , and music
thats about it
they are contain in the /music or /sound folders after you DePBO the mission
80% of missions don't dePBO for me properly (don't know why)
you cant change gun fire sounds in OFP sorry

sure they have Malboeuf!
I exctracted the Sound.pbo file and now I have all the sound files in the game, ie:
AK74burst.wss
AK74full.wss
AK74single.wss
etc etc.
They can be changed I think, but my Windows Media Player can't read them, don't know why.
Please, can somebody help me out?
I tried to change them into .wav files, but all I got was the same error.

you can listen to them but you can not change them in OFP
go to the OFPediting site or Axelonline and you'll find the music players for them, you can find those links above in Avon's FAQ link
I dont have them here on my Lap to for you at the moment

Search The FAQ (http://www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/) for "music".

Sorry, The FAQ won't help you for WSS files.

do a search for "wss" and you'll find what you need
