HI!
The funny thing is that the problems with the AI happens on our side never on the side totally controled by the game. Example:
I made a simple mission were I ordered the East soldiers to guard a base (i used the HOLD command in the waypoint menu), myself was a sniper determined to kill them 1 by 1. Much to my surprise i found them making an ambush :O they had 1 soldier near the out in the open while the rest of them were hidding in a bush nearby, and in that same mission but another play i took too long to kill them and they found me! I don't mean that they shot from far and got me i mean the come towards my position and when they were near enough they shot me http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif. This is great i thought but then i started to notice strange things about my men. Now (since i installed 1.30) they only obey my move command if i there is a line of sight between where they are and where i want them to go. I'll give u an example, I was facing north looking at a base, the entrance of the base was to west, i told 2 of my men to get in a BDRM that was in the center of the base, they couldn't both said "NEGATIVE", solution: go to east side of base, go to entrance of base, get in BDRM. This didn't happen in 1.20, another example of how the AI got worse on our side i made a simple mission wich consisted of going down the highest mountain in full speed inside a tank http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif, but unfortunatly a forest moved in front of me and i crashed, no big deal, no harm done to the tank or anyone, BUT THEN the commander (bot) told everybody to disembark, wich we did, and swicht places i was driver had to get in as gunner, the gunner had to get in as driver. Only i was playing and i was in mission editor. This is wonderfull i thought, but now... They r really DUMB, they even managed to get a BRDRM STUCK between 2 houses :O.
Does anyone else feel that the AI has gone worse in 1.30?
