CTD when loading any arma 2 Island addon

Ive downloaded Island addons for arma 2 and installed them in my addons folder. I have verified that they are indeed arma2 addons via this site. I''ll place a unit on the map the hit preview and it will crash to desktop. It does not do this with any of the vanilla islands. Anybody have this problem or no what i can do to fix it.

AN example of this is Isla de Pollo by Goeth, but none of the islands on this site work for me either.

Just a suggestion, is the addon you are trying not dependable on other addons ??

Sometimes you need more addons to run an addon.

If any further Addons were missing so ctd is never caused though, you´d recieve a errormessage with "Addon XY needs Addon AB", the game would run then even without that addon. A CTD is mostley a result of another issue, mostley within the ArmA/ArmA2 installation. A reinstallation of the game sometimes is causing miracles...

Thanks guys I figured out that it was fps helper that was crashing it. I have no idea why but it does it for me.
