no sound at all

can anyone tell me why i get no sound at all when playing. the music comes up, and earth 2150 plays fine afterwards but the noly thing i notice is the sound is choppy i have a duron 850mhz and a genius soundmaker live card..its a bugger getting shot and not knowing it...

music plays in OFP? have you tried making sure the voice and sound FX are turned up?

what speaker set up do you have?
make sure your SB speaker mixer is set to match how many speakers you have

also try turning the EAX on and off and test if this helps
