Looking for a simple script to activate some mines on a map using a way to detect if anybody is say within 1meter of the mine.
Due to there being around 50 mines in total using 50 triggers isnt the correct way to proceed hence why im looking for a script instead.
any help greatly appreciated.

I did make a script that put a load of random mines in an area and created triggers for each and it worked quite well.
If you don't want a trigger for each mine maybe you could attach a trigger to each unit when it enters the mine field and then use nearestobject and check for mine within 1meter.
Maybe a script checking all units would be better though.
Do you really care whether there are actual mine objects with a fixed position or do you just want a minefield of a certain size with a certain chance of dying with each step ?
