Ive got probs.

Ive recently reinstalled OF on my new WIndows ME system - specs:
AMD 1.4ghz
256mb RAM
Matrox Millenium G400 32mb GFX
Windows ME (fully upto date)

Now when i finish a mission im put straight back to the windows desktop - no error message.

So i tried to install a patch but that does the same! The actual CD is in the drive and the logo comes up but thats it!

Please someone help me! Im at a loss!

(it used to work fine b4 i upgraded - is this an ME problem?)

is this happening on all patches or just 1.3 because with patch 1.3 i have had problems where the game just exits back to the desktop

Can you send this in ONE mail to support@<hidden>?

- brief description of your problem
- CPU type, motherboard, graphics card configuration (you can send
DxDiag.txt, which contains this and even mose)
- Flashpoint.rpt and Context.bin files
- what version of OF are you using
(which addons)
- in which mission are you experiencing problems
- are you using HW T&L or not?
- what operation system have you got? (Win9x, WinME, Win2000)

on the original installation - it wont let me install patches either so im on bog standard first version!

oh thats strange it should work, mine does its just with version 1.3.
have you tried uninstalling and then goinf to C:\program files\codemasters and then deleted operation flashpoint and start again.

it may fix your problem m8

ok i haven't had that problem only with 1.3.

have you tried uninstalling BUT the going to where you installed the game (C:/program files/codemaster/flashpoint). DELETE THIS DIRECTORY AND START AGAIN. AND ONLY INSTALL PATCHES OF 1.20 and then 1.30 don't install unofficial files or any other add ons as i had trouble with them
