View Full Version : Visitor 3 and bulldozer problem?

I have followed every tutorial out there and even tried to load the sample map from BIS and I get the same error and no textures load in bulldozer. The error is
cannot load material file ca\xx\data\layers\p_000-000_l00_n_n_n.rvmat.

Please help. What am I doing wrong?

make sure you don't have "binarize" option checked when compiling.

I imported the satellite and mask and checked the text option. Other than that, I am clueless!

Try Removing CA from all file paths

still no luck, I just had to move everything out of the CA folder to import the sat and mask. Could there be a path wrong with my Visitor 3?? Iam using the steam version of ArmA 2.

Sounds like a path problem. How is your island folder setup? Why did you move everything out of your CA folder to get Satellite and Mask, you should not have to do this?

I was just trying what was suggested. I have all my folders setup under the p:\ca\...

Could I get this error because I am using steam?

Should not be P:\CA\ just make your island folder in P:\

ie. P:\Your_Island_Name\...

Yep. Do NOT put stuff into CA.

Instead use:

p:\YourOFPECTag\YourProjectName\

p:\crawl\crawl_desertstorm\
