View Full Version : Can we get a updated Sample Map ?

Atm im trying around with the sample map we got for ArmA, but im stuck to the rvmat-files. Are there any plans to publish a updated sample map for ArmA 2 ?

Or did anyone else tried to convert the old sample map successfully to ArmA 2 ?

Forget about it. Got it running now. Messed up my project folder before.
Everything runs fine now.

Actually, It would still be nice to see maybe Utes as a sample map released.

I tried and it didnt worked for me. I haven´t adjusted anythings, just opened the samplemap.pew and Visitor crashed while importing process. (Visitor3 from ArmA2 tools)

This would be so helpful el76. I can import the satellite and mask, but cannot get textures to show for some reason. I have also been using some tutorials from Arma1 and i think they are just a bit outdated. I just can't figure out what im doing wrong. It would be great to have something that works to compare to. Have you tried www.mediafire.com you can make an account for free and each file you upload can be upto 100 MB i believe. After you upload it; it will give you a nice easy download link. :)

I hope this helps, as an updated sample map would really help me out to learn this.
