Hi,

i am a bit surprised by the "cost" values i've found in" cfgVehicles" config.
As far as i know "cost" defines which targets are preferable to AI .

So you can see a M1A1 has a "cost" of millions and air units are just higher, while infantry units have about 80000 - 200000.
Fine.

The problem is: why BMP3s and LAV25s have a "cost" of just 40000 ?

That means that, while in doubt, AI will choose to fire upon grunts (riflemen cost = 80000) instead of shooting lightly armoured vehicles ?

Riflemen are easier targets?

I've put in editor a LAV25 against a BMP3 and a rifleman.
The LAV25 attacks the rifleman FIRST.
Then it's obviously blown to pieces with ease by the BMP3 ...

I think that does not make any sense.
The BMP3 is both a bigger threat and a more appealing target ... should be attacked first!

yes, the cost should do exactly that: specify for AI which is a juiciest target for them, so they can prioritize. I guess someone forgot to add a 0 at the end of the BMP3 and LAV25 configs

Change the LAV to a rifleman. Now what's the bigger threat?
