Well my friend if you have a copy of opf made on a cheap burner which cant support safedisc2 properly, then the cd just spins, and spins..and spins.....and nothing happens on the screen.
So, if thats what you have, buy the game.
If not, then i suggest a solution which alwaaaaays works for any problem
get your OS cd, go to bios, go to menagment, make CDROM first bootlable device, and restart. CD boots up, and then say either FIX windows, or REINSTALL ( i suggest reinstall). Takes 1 hour or so (depending what OS that is) and then ALL YOUR PROBLEMS are gone.
If that doesent work, FORMAT first, then reinstall :PPP
Works like a charm. better have some back ups though http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I had the same problem with the V1.30 patch, and was never able to resolve it.
I finally downloaded a NoCD hack, and was able to install the patch and play the game.

d*amnit Mr Frag.... B.I.S said that using a Nocd hack can kickstart FADE!
Hope you don't keep using it or else you will start fading.
