SEAL Team. This was about the first realistic FPS back in 1993 http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

how come vietnam games are always special forces soldiers
would be nice for a game to be based on regular soldiers for a change http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

There is one game that just came out, called Squad Battles: Vietnam. It's not a FPS or anything, but a turn-based hex tactical combat game. Look at this review on Squad Battles: Vietnam (http://www.wargamer.com/reviews/squad_battles_vietnam_main.asp)
Seal Team was the greatest, call in air stikes, PBRs, capture PoWs, it had it all in a game.

Looks to be an interesting game. We'll have to see though.

I just saw "Apocalypse Now Redux"
Man, what a movie.
They should really base a game on that.

SEAL TEAM was AWESOME.. I remember playing that for days on end without sleep... usually, after the 22nd or 23rd consecutive hour of playing I stopped playing very well. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
It kicked though, I loved calling in Airstrikes, or completing a Snatch and Grab while Iroqois gunships hovered overhead.
I think I've still got that somewhere... I might go and replay it.

YES!
That scene in Apocalypse Now where the General wants a bigger beach so he tells them to carpet bomb the treeline backa bit. One of the better scenes in the whole movie

It's warez and I won't tell you because you all know what happened to Ruskie.
It can't be warez if i can't go to an store and buy it.Plus the game is almost 10 years old.Copyright only lasts for 10 years ? I don't think they would care(the game company) if they don't make it anymore.

Copyright lasts for about 100 years or something.

I own the 3.5" disks of the game, but my disk drive died so I can't install it...
I don't think the copywrite on software is only 10 years, and the game came out in 1993 or 1994, so it's not ten years yet.
By the way, does anyone remember a game called NAM? It was made with the Duke Nukem 3D engine and looked really crappy. I think it came out in 1997 or 98, but wasn't any better than Black Op.

Blah, your right copyrights last for 95 years. But if they don't sell it anymore ,why should they be upset ? their not losing any money.

I couldn't even think of having no disk drive in my computer.

Didn't the company that made it merge with another, or go out of business or something?
