View Full Version : What the next addons pack should have
The next addons pack should have the following:
1)Instead of having to mess about with HTML, you should have a Briefing tool inside the mission editor.
2)It should have more air units for the Russians and the Resistance, including two seater planes and plane transports.
3)It needs AP mines.
4)You should be able to add overviews from inside the editor, just like briefings.
Does anybody else agree or have anything to add?
First of all, I dont agree with 2, 3 and 4 http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Second of all, I am affraid they don't hand out "Spammer of the Year" awards within the OFP Community http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif No offence, but u almost create as much topics as I answer them http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif. Doesn't neccaserily (?) have to be something you shouldn't, but it's just something I noticed http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Im not sure AP are useless (this is supposed to be realistic!http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif - I know there are addon AP mines, but an official one would be a welcome addition.

More Russian choppers would be welcomed. About the AP mines though. Well AP mines were a key factor in WW wars but now that philisophy has changed. Armies are becoming more mobile now with massive armoured mobilazation. The philosophy nowdays is all around AT mines to prevent armoured units to reach a certain area and without them infantry can be butchered. I watched this in a military program in my country. AP are also about to be phased out.

Are you being serious? AP mines continue to proliferate--they're the best thing in the world at denying a large area to infantry.
Just look at Korea.

I would say that ap mines still play a major role in wars now a days. Look at Bosnia, Kosovo, iraq/kuwait..........
These places are filled with ap mines that are taking a lot of work to remove and these are conflicts fought in the last 10 15 years.
And they arent really being phased out theres work on a agreement on not using them. But a lot of countries are against that because its such a great defensive weapon. And those that agree still have them under others names.
+ ap mines should be able to take out lighter vehicles aswell(trucks, cars) so they got some use there http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
a chopper for the Russians and Resistance woule be nice aswell http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Good point about the AP mines. I agree about the Russian and Resistance choppers as well, support the topic "Resistance chopper needed" http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
