It's as easy as putting the saved JPG (named "face.JPG") in the arma documents folder :)
Problem I'm having is that servers won't accept my custom face so I'm walking around textureless :/
As for tutorials I suggest you start playing with Photoshops layers, opacity sliders, transform/scale and gum (eraser) tools.

for online play most servers have a <100kb limit so if you want your face texture to show online you have to keep the size under 100kb
which means you have to keep the size and quality pretty low

I wish more player would get this, same with sound files. our server will auto kick anyone with a bigger file then 100kbs, whats funny is when some player will rejoin the server 20+ before they see the automated warning.

I downsize to 512 x 512 but export in High quality and there's no loss.
Problem fixed btw
Hey all, I want to make my own custom face.
I would like to apply it to ArmA 2 at the highest resolution possible. What would I need to do this?
I have some good pictures of myself (ones on all 4 sides). Whats the next step?
Would anybody care to eliminate the middle man and just do it for me? If not, just show me the next steps. Its just my own personal face, I know it wont turn out 100% because I'm not physically modeling my facial structure onto the object, but I think I can get pretty close.
The one problem I have is I don't own photoshop and cannot get a copy anytime soon... is that a pretty big roadblock?
Where do I put the face jpg? Just in the main Arma2 directory?
