How to lauch air off LHD/LHA's?

I know how to add aircraft and personnel on flight deck. I've added MOVE waypoint, but pilots always seem to drive off deck at different directions.

For example I want an AV8B to launch off USS Khe Wossname deck, set one MOVE WP straight 1000m off USS Khe Wossname. Instead the AV8 turns starboard and crashes into carrier.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think the LHD has AI aircraft pathing.

One work around would be to get the AI to activate VTOL and then move to the waypoint, I know it's not what your trying to do but as the LHD is so short even if the AI was at the end of it, they probably would just fall into the sea at the other end.

I'm sorry but I'm not able to assist further with the command for the AI harrier to activate VTOL.

I'm sure someone can tho.

Thanks Eble, the only A/C I was able to get to work were helo's. I thought the AV8's might be able to to STOL, but wasn't able to accomplish it. Instead, I added speed to them so they already had some life, which seemed to work.
