After downloading user made missions, I placed them in the singleplayer, and multiplayer folders of the game, but they arent showing up in the game menus.
Whats the exact address for singleplayer and multiplayer missions in the root directory?
I've downloaded a co-op mission that I have put in the MPMissions folder of the installation directory, and that has worked. The mission shows up in the list when I start a new multiplayer game.
So I guess for single player missions, that you put them in the "Missions" folder of the installation directory?
What I am wondering though, is what is the purpose of the 'missions' folders in the Arma2 folder of "My documents", or the vista equivalent?

Yes to both answers.

This is where you will find the missions you make in the editor. It is in an opened format so that you can apply changes to it such as adding scripts like .sqf and .ext files.
If you downlaod the program CPBO it will let you open up mission pbo's to find out what make missions work.
Hi all
Read this thread for MP missions
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=77683
Remember you have to host it to play an MP mission
Select Multiplayer
Select New
Choose where to host a server Internet or LAN, if you want a password etc.
Then choose the mission you want to play, they divided by island Map.
For SP missions they go in
C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Missions
Select Single Player
Select Scenarios
Kind Regards walker
