LDD Kyllikki squad members have produced hundreds of multiplayer missions since 2001 for OFP/ArmA.
Many of them never seen the light of day outside our server. We will share some of them to the Arma 2 community in this thread.

I have played co 06 juhannus with my team but as Finnish language is a bit cryptic for us French guys, we start by eliminating the nearest targets, the cannons, but I believe me had missed something for the mission ended as we were on the way to the radar station.
Could you be kind enough by giving us an English language briefing ?

Great, I always loved playing your missions.

We just tried them on a dedicated and on a non-dedicated host... the maps made the server almost crash immediately.
Something is wrong with the PBO size or something.
Even if you depbo them and try to open them in the editor the make ArmA 2 crash. :(

I know that each of these missions have been played without crashes on multiple servers so perhaps the problem was for example in a corrupted download? But I'm no expert in these things - I only bake and sell donuts in a Soldier's Home.

All missions are in english except co 06 Juhannus.

I know that each of these missions have been played without crashes on multiple servers so perhaps the problem was for example in a corrupted download? But I'm no expert in these things - I only bake and sell donuts in a Soldier's Home.

Hostage and Juhannus definitely don't work for the both of us, I got this error when trying to run a non-decicated server on my machine:
Data file too short 'MPMissions\co 06 Hostages.Chernarus.pbo'. Expected 43112 B, got 40975 B
Data file too short 'MPMissions\co 06 juhannus.Chernarus.pbo'. Expected 29054 B, got 27588 B
The same thing happens when we installed those missions on the armed-assault.de Stammtisch server
The other missions work just fine :)

How does the morning star missions work? I just start as a guy with 20 friendly AI around me whom I can't control and who doesn't do anything but stand around. I can't buy units or do anything. I know I'm a noob but I just can't figure out how to "start" the game.
EDIT...oh, it seems it is MP misisons. Well, too bad, I want SP missions.
Yeah sadly the Morning Star -missions are MP-only.

Same here, came to report this and see I'm not alone.
It crashes the game as soon as you click "new" if it's in mpmissions and the mission.sqm isn't properly formatted when you view it.

Thank you, but I already tried it there, I mostly get missions from your site :)
Both links on Armaholic and the one in the first post result in a faulty file. Both Winrar and 7zip show no errors, but when you unpbo it the first five lines are missing with

I already had the first version on the server and it started out promising, but the warehouse marker didn't show up, just on the other end of Chernarus.
Oh, and I didn't even thank you for your missions here with the last post. Only played the three small ones so far, "little something" is our first choice for warming up.

Grabbed CSAR Jolly Green after listening to the ARAM2 podcast. Holey cow batman, frantic, intense, requires solid nav/map reading skills, chopper extraction under fire! AWESOME! One hell of an intense sub-10 minute (and in most cases sub 5-minute) mission.....

We are pretty stoked with it mate, though some comments have been made that the Vodniks seem a little easy to kill with MG fire, and the BlackHawk seems a mite too resistant to enemy fire (bullets and RPGS)? Some of the fottage shows the bird taking 1 or 2 RPG explostion in close proximity, with negligible impact). Not too fussed, but have you tinkered with these or are they standard (to settle the discussions in our group)?
We also had one absolutely hilarious mission, where we spawned near a hangar, and heard a chopper starting up. Someone called "enemy chopper' and we sprinted to find........ the Blackhawk spooling up 100m away. I kid you not!! Awesomely funny!
Shuko, can you recommend any other of your missions (or other designers in Kyllikki) of the same ilk/intensity, that have high replayability, short game time and FUN? we normally run Norrin's revive for our mission nights, but have been happily using this as an after-mission filler for remaining players, and would be interested in anything else you or others in your group have that fits this mould?

All the units are standard Arma 2 units. The hardest (might be 2 hardest) difficulty settings have a chance to also spawn BMPs. Mostly I used Vodnik, because they can be taken out without having a lot of AT, since it's kind of limited on the player group. Having a lot of BMPs spawning might not be fun in a mission without time limit and endless spawns.
Shuko, can you recommend any other of your missions (or other designers in Kyllikki) of the same ilk/intensity, that have high replayability, short game time and FUN?
Unfortunately, this mission is probably only one that fills all three criterias.

played it with 5 players on two teams and best we could do is get a few shots on the villa by luck - no clue how to properly work those mortars,even my AI does have no luck in firing em
Ended with inserting the villa and taking the infidels out by being sneaky

by god,i guess we didnt moved more than 150m then 50% of the team was down - fine,restarted it and this time we got nearly 70% of the way done till we got obligerated by pesky RPGfire ... got some nice screens of the whole team crying for help lol

Tears of Allah started just as a mortar test mission. Since insurgents don't have satellite mapping GPS targeting systems, adding the default artillery targeting module seemed silly. Thus, I added azimuth/elevation display.
I have a new version of it already in the works, it has more accurate ballistics tables and elevation display. Should be easier to actually hit something. I'll upload it once I've tested couple of other things I added to it.
Yeah, even though Oqab Tsuka is not very random or dynamic mission, at least it's challenging. For the first few times anyway. :)
Daarrem is getting an update as well.
I would like to hear feedback about Shahi Tandar, about difficulty and so on. It might need to be made a bit more difficult.

kinda nice idea,but when it comes to danger the Apaches fear no threat there -its challenging for the infantry patrol stuck out there to make the first 4-5minutes till the Apaches come in,but then holy moly my AIgunner let loose and dammmmmn,you dont want ot be down there in that moment lol
Even the inf patrol didnt survived till i came in with a BH to extract (i doubt anyone there survived the Apaches main gun wrecking havoc) i made all 3 obj´s and returned wounded (after a lil firefight with Talibs) back to safety
Entertaining mission,just quite not as challenging for the Apache part

We enjoyed the gang fight! The First Aid doesn't work very well, you have to try to give first aid several times on the same person.
kMaN: The BIS first aid module has a bug that has been around forever. You can't give FA with pistol in hand, you either need a rifle (primary weapon) or no weapons (drop pistol).
TheScar: Well, I guess that's pretty realistic then how the things go? ;) I'll see if I can figure out a way to broaden the difficulty (adding a parameter). With/without Apaches, adding some DshKMs etc.

Started as A10pilot :rolleyes: but ran out of ammo after 15min,then joined the ground team and got my a** handed to myself several times
I guess we killed like 120+ enemys as the last man died :eek:

Could you use version numbers for easy identification by server admins?
What are the last update changes? Is it to mitigate the effects of patch 1.54?

Well, I don't find version numbers relevant. Having all versions use same file name, it makes it pretty simple; only one version on the server, new one replaces the older.
Version numbers and changes are mentioned in the txt file included in the rar:

Well, meant that I only do missions that are designed to have humans in the slots. ;) Some might be playable as SP+AIs, but it's not something I specifically try to do.

co21 weygand v0.5 What activates the map click function? Platoon leader has a radio in gear screen, but when I open the map I only see compass & watch.
I have tried looking under the choices by pressing a number, but cannot see an option.
There is something blatantly obvious I am overlooking, as no one else has asked in this thread *bangs head on monitor*

Yeah you're missing something obvious. You need to be in the top slot, select the relevant option from the action menu (Cant remember what its called!) and then click on the map to choose your desired location.

I pick Platoon commander, click okay and the map/ briefing screen opens, with the tasks etc on upper left. Cant for the life of me find something to pick location.
If I click continue, we spawn NE of novy sobor. And here I can bring up the map, but have no radio to select an option from. Pressing the keyboard numbers brings up a variety of menus, but nothing to mark map.

Once you have spawned in do you have anything on your action menu rather than your radio?
The current versions are dedicated server only.
The action is given to the first human player in playableunits array, which so far has always been the first (top) in the role selection screen. So, you don't have to pick the leader.
I'll see if I got time to do a quick modification to make them work on hosted server as well.

Added hosted server support, spectator script, LDDK logo, new taskmaster. Made few internal changes. Removed kylligear. Changed respawn to group.
Only updated the Chernarus version, try it out and tell me if theres problems/bugs. If not, I'll try to muster up motivation to update the other islands as well.

Thank you for your missions and the reply, the problem was I was trying to host.
Put it on a dedicated server and have been really having fun,..., dying, having fun dying alot :)
I dont have OA so I cannot comment on updates, but I'm sure they work fine.

After clicking "Get more ammo", the artillery computer doesn't work as intended. Even if set to Semi (far), it will fire at close range.
I know it was supposed to be a mortar manual fire training mission and BAF patch broke it.
Workaround: Give additional shells to the assistant mortar operator or put them in the UAZ.
Mortar manual fire is very difficult. :smile:

Hi Shuko, first of all let me ask this - please don't stop creating missions!
Secondly, Kingpin is great, the HQ part feels very tough, but we played this mission with only 6-7 players, so it's hard to say. I just love this mission.

We also host a lot of Kyllikki missions on our LOL server, great missions and loads of fun. We do make our own missions also, hopefully we can post some up here also for everyones enjoyment.
