UK servers?

Hi all. Can anyone recommend me an English speaking and preferably UK based server? I've had a couple of games online (just picking at populated servers with low ping) trying out the various game modes, but i want to play on a UK server with just (or as just as possible) UK players.

Hello there

At the moment there are not a vast amount of servers from the UK out there.

But in the next few weeks expect to see an increase in numbers.

Most servers around at the moment are German heavy, due to the game being released there (mainly) first.

But, alot of the low ping servers I use (also in UK), although having a mainly German userbase, mostly speak english whilst in game.

The Beir AIG server for example. Most of my regular "Playmates" are German there, but communicate in English.

As the UK/Euro release gets out there you will see more of us UK folk out there, although for me, Ill stick to the Euro servers as IMHO I prefer their positive attitude towards coop play.

In the meantime, try the Clan/Squad based servers as the main language is usually English. (Which, if you think about it, is incredibly nice of the chaps/chapesses to speak a second language in game).

I can highly recommend Kellys Heroes server... :D use filter type Kell click ok.

Thanks very much Orlok and moosenoodles. I'll check out the ones you mention and keep an eye out for UK servers. I've no problem with playing on any server as long as the ping is ok, it's just that with me being new to the game, it's nice to be able to understand what everyone is saying. I will persevere though because the game is awesome. (I knew i was going to like it when i had a 20 minute chat in Game with an ex-army guy whilst waiting for our copies to come downstairs:)) Thanks again.

XR is pretty close to a uk server sence im from the uk myself but its hosted in germany so has good pings for all euro players. 35ms for me
English speaking only aswell

I wondered what that pm was all about! Seemed pretty random but thanks all the same. I'll check it out.

Still looking for good servers. The problem with the few that people recommend on here, is that they fill up and stay full a lot of the time. I'll keep trying though. Heard lots of good things about Kelly's heroes. I think that's why it's always full.
