You can have some fun with setpos in OFP, like in this example mission that setpos you in the back of a moving truck :
or see a video of it :
You will soon see a UAZ driving near you, you can shoot it with your M16 or try your LAW Launcher and see if you can blow it up while moving.
Of course as you can see there are some limitations with the setpos method :
the script needs to have a very very very small delay, so you just can't use it in any missions that can use other script in the same time, or are large scale enough.
Because depending on your framerate (the higher your framerate the better this script will work), like in the end when the truck stop at the village, it can get you killed for some reason if your framerate is not good enough.
Another limitation is that you are forced to give a setdir to the soldier in back of the truck, or it will rotate in a very weird way, and unfortunately such setdir prevents you to turn around freely, you can just move your gun thanks to the free aim that is specific to OFP.
It is always possible with some trigonometry to force the unit in back of the truck to face specific target though.
But in OFP there is no light on ressource method to get something like this done.
For cargo, it is easier as a cargo do not risk to get killed .
Other methods can be found in the WH40k mod with the big imperial plane carrying two 2 tanks, that is using a model trick rather than a setpos , and in the BAS CH47.
