Can start multiplayer game

When i enter the multiplayer menu, i can select the land and the mission, but when i then hit the "Ok" button, NOTHING happens. It doesn't crash or anything, it just doesn't do anything. A reinstall of Windows Me, DirectX, display drivers, flashpoint and all the patches hasn't solved anything!

If you're talking about the mission select in multiplayer games, you only give your VOTE by double clicking on the map or clicking on it and then pressing ok.
You have to wait all players in the game to finish voting by double clicking on the map they want to play, then you'll play in the map with more votes.

I had the same problem there for a while. I had to install dx8.1, but have read on the forum that others have had to install earlier versions of dx to solve their problem.

If you're using ANY kind of firewall or internet sharing stuff, try turning it off and see if it works

There are a lot of potential possibilities here.

I had the same problem for a while. I couldn´t even host a game because nothing happened when I clicked the "ok"- Button. Then I tried to make a dedicated server (OFP_Server.exe) on my machine, and play OFP on this server. It seemed that my machine didn´t have the power to run both smoothly, so I restarted the game without the dedicated server and suddenly everything was fine. Since then I didn´t have a problem playing OFP multiplayer. Must be a strange bug in all versions.
