porting maps to Arma2

i know...
this is not the mappingforum but because of not beeing able to post there i thought i try it here.

Id like to start this thread to gather informations and tips on how to port maps and other addons from Arma1 to Arma2. Maybe anybody who likes could post his experiences with porting addons without the editingtools for Arma2 in this thread so all the modders and the community could benefit from the gathered knowledge. :)

all of them have a huge performance boost and i have much more fps then i ever had in arma1 on them :yay:

There is an exisiting thread in A&M:D about importing ArmA stuff into ArmA2 you could use for that.

Using the forum search is not rocket science.
