Hello everyone :)
I just making some heli maybe jet too sound replacement /If i got some more free time maybe i will do weapon and tank sound replacement/
Have a look this wip video of MH-60 sound test

(I know theres somekind bad noise in the first fly by dunno why :/)

Released the public version of my heli sound mod , here you are

This changes heli sounds like MH-60 , UH-1Y , AH-1Z , Mi-17/8 , Mi-24 and Ka-52
btw maybe some sounds will be louder or less , it will be tweaked in next version

It sounds really good. Even though the sound quality isn't very good in these videos, maybe they will help is some way. They are from my tour in Iraq.

In the second one you can kind of hear that high pitched wine that I think is pretty important. Good luch with your project.

Sounds fantastic! BIS should include this sounds in a official patch. :D
Can't wait to hear the engine start and shutdown sound and interior.

Wow, these are amazing. Did you change the "under the rotors" noise too? The one that distorted the sound in your first video. If you're gonna change jet sounds, I suggest changing the behind engine/flyby noise. For some reason it's a real low-quality sound.

I changed all , but it fraps recorded too much loud ,thats why it was bad noise , ingame works well.
About jets: maybe i will do ;)

These days am testing sounds in action - i got new sounds of Mi24 , Ka52 and AH1Z are more or less done ,but need to do Mi17 and try some sounds jets too :)
Maybe later i will do some new video/s

Hmm , almost all these sounds can be founded on youtube /but you must find quality ones/ and some others are from my personal collection :cool:

Damn, this is amazing. This and VopSound will be my first addons.
So nice... really, I wouldn't even try ArmA 2 if modding wasn't possible.

a question: Do the sounds use the directional feature of ArmA2 sound engine? Like the sound is different when you stand under the helicopter etc.

Ye , all vehicles in ArmA2 have new additional sounds , in helis for example - On top sound , below heli rotor sound and high rotor sound + starts up/shut down engines sounds + inside sounds :cool:

a small heli sound mod can become a huge and a significant heli sound mod ;)

Yes, focus on a heli sound mod, modular mods = much more popular to mix n match.

Maybe in future version :) - my plans to do :
- to make a Osprey sounds and maybe new start up/shut sounds
