View Full Version : What other cool features could I use ?
I'm just making a collection of scenarios:
What I already got are the artillery/ virtual artillery missions from the artillery thread, Halo and mapclick Halo Jump, a simple Heli extraction and a simple Heli insertion where the chopper drops you, flys far away and gets setVehicleArmor 0 above the ocean.
So what other events could I add to my collection ?

Since your already seem to adept some advanced editing functionality, I would recommend
{deleteVehicle _x} forEach crew heli;
deleteVehicle heli;
instead of the setVehicleArmor. Will remove heli and crew right away, without explosion though, in case you want that.
Would be nice if you release it as a demo mission for others somewhere, editing section of OFPEC might be the place.
What I'm still missing is a Heli extraction. I always have the problem that the Heli starts right at the beginning and then looses it's fuel. Could you upload a working Heli extraction please ?

And remember to copy the marker in the artillery missions too since it's not visible by default.
Have you tried to use an empty heli then create a crew group with a "get in" wp leading to the heli. Next you could probably sync the first wp to a radio activated trigger so they get in when you call. This way you can keep the pilot grounded until you want the extraction.
How can I set variables true/ false and how do I get the crew to enter the chopper when I trigger the variable.

Hold on. I'll send you a sample mission. I gotta see the best way, usually I only use this method for para drops.
Could you please send me this unpacked (not as .pbo) ?

@<hidden>: Download Kegetys Arma tools. The .pbo packer/depacker is a must if you want to work with missions.
