Hi all,

I'm getting into the Modules, and see how some work as drop and play, and others are plainly a mystery.

1- The Artillery Module will allow all artillery gunners to use NLOS targeting with graphical spread, and time to splash indicators. Just by dropping in.

2- Artillery-Virtual Piece. Can't get them to do anything noticeable.

3- Not sure of the First Aid Modules. Can't get them to do anything noticeable.
First Aid-Action
First Aid-Battlefield Clearance
First Aid-Simulation

That's all I've looked at so far. Decided to do some searching, but to no avail. Back to research, many others to try out.

Next up:
4- Strategic Reference Layer-

If you have info on these, please post here. Thanks!

First Aid-Simulation
First Aid-Action

Managed to get these two working ealier. Not sure what the clearance one does yet.

The Action and Simulation ones allow you to drag a injured squadmate, or carry him over your shoulder. You can also bend down and heal him if you are a first aider (Takes about 20 seconds or so) Once healed they can run at normal speed but are still hurt, and at risk of dying with one more small injury, so best to get them out of the place.

Just drag the module onto the map and 'sync' them with your squad leader and it will work for every member of your team.

Simply read some posts down in this forum section and you can find answeres how to use almost all modules.

I'd like to use this place to suggest One Topic Per GL Module, and try to keep all info/questions about it in there, so its all in one easily accessible place

We need a big compilation post of what each module does and how you get it to work in the first place :)

Most modules are well explained here (http://http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Category:ArmA_2:_Editor_Modules), sadly not all of them are though.

Weather: seems to only change the appearance of the clouds
Ambient Animals: ?, aren't there always ambient animals
Military Symbols: haven't tried, will investigate
Preload manager: ?
Strategic reference layer: ?
Surrendering: ?
Warfare: Seems to set up warfare style play, are there any params though?

Seems from experience that the more players in the mission-the more animals appear?

I've noticed that there is ambient rabbits & birds but that's it, chickens, dogs, cows, goats etc have to be placed, or the ambient module has to be placed.
