Anyone heard if arma2 will have any new options for respawns?
The one I've been waiting for since OFP is where you group respawn until everyone is dead, and then you respawn at the base.
As far as I know, no one was ever able to come up with a way to do it.

ArmA you can choose to respond when you want depending on how things are set up, be it back at base after a timer, or....you turn into a seagul until everyone is dead. In ACEmod I know you can respond anytime you wish aside from the timer countdown.

I made that for Arma was quite easy lol. Was only released inside the clan though, but i might release it to the mass when i can get my hands on arma 2 and see how it all works. :cool:

In ACEmod I know you can respond anytime you wish aside from the timer countdown.
The timer can be set to 0, instant respawn. Then you can have script control that automatically puts you in 'jail' that you can't escape from, right after respawn. A custom timer can be used to cause a delay, before you are teleported back to the desired respawn place. The possibilities are quite limitless, just not right out of the box.
jack_oneill, I am after a respawn script exactly like the one you described. Did you ever have any luck finding one??
