Sahrani Radio in 2008

As of monday 21 january, Sahrani Radio is back on air!

It has been a while since our last broadcast, but  we're back on air 24 hours a day.

Not only with music, but also new interviews are being planned, as well as other field-reports in and around armedassault.


To give the radiostation some variaty, we're looking for people from the community who have a good taste for music and humor.

Are you that guy with a different taste of music?  and are you not afraid to let your voice be heard on the radio or podcasts / interviews?


This, in combination with a healthy dose of humor, makes you a perfect candidate for this position.

As an Sahrani Radio 'deejay' you spend about 3-6 hours per week on unique audible content within the armedassault community.

i just try sahrani radio for 1st time, really good.
one small suggestion, i think it will be good, if you can post somewhere (sahrani radio web site will be best or BIS forums in this thread), the regular timezones program, and the dj behind the decks). in that way we can listen the music of our taste.

I&#39;d like to advise you of too many repetitions in your programme. It is still nice of course, but some tracks become played three or four times a day.

It was especially annoying that the same news came like three days... also I doubt that it makes sense to send CNN News as I think (dunno how it really is) that there are more non-US residents hearing it... I prefer quality newspapers anyway. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif

Well I like radio news because I listen to Sahrani radio while modeling and I mostly don&#39;t have the time to read the news at the same time. Well I do, but still, I think it&#39;s nice to have a summary http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge2.gif.

Don&#39;t get me wrong, but half the time there&#39;s some emo like music, basicly some ass singing about how their girlfriend dump them and they can&#39;t get over it.

We need more Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, some Pouges and Dubliners perhaps, some Queens Of The Stone Age, some of the old Foo Fighters, some Audioslave wouldn&#39;t be bad, Led Zeppelin and Dire Straits would be awsome too, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, maybe some more old disco hits, Kings Of Leon are pretty cool from time to time. Some moar 80s music would rock.

Just less indie and emo. 3/4s of indie sucks. Emo sucks without a doubt. New music is too much whiny bitchy.

I kinda agree. The music doesn&#39;t appeal to me at all. It may
as well be the same record repeating ad nauseam as far as I
can make out. But de gustibus non disputandum est (is
disputandum a gerundive? Yes, I think so), I suppose.
