Just wondering as i have an idea. Could i remove the water all together for my map as i seem to think that the skybox is a basic sphere and removing the water and changing the skybox texture would give the effect that ime looking for.
Is it possible at all if so how?
And also changing the sky texture is it possible too?
I'm adamant the sky textures are changeable as they were in OFP but I'm pretty sure (based on assumption only) that the water would be hard coded, the water texture is changeable so perhaps a completely opaque texture could get what you're after. However I don't know if that would just leave the ocean floor visible or if a landless map even has an ocean floor. Having said that, a transparent ocean would certainly still allow you to crash into it.

Ok i think that the water idea wont work http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif But as for the sky i got it working but only by replacing the textures in CA and pbo'ing them back up. Not sure why my config wont work. Not at home atm so i cant post my config but will tomos. If any one cares to help me.
Is there an easy way to alter the sea level in Visitor?
EDIT: Found it. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif

You can change sea level in map?
How?
Ah, sorry.
Well, being a bit of a noob at this, I found what I was actually after: changing the config values to lower the terrain maximum height.
