I'm having trouble keeping my textures visible after I restart O2. When I apply the texture it appears in the window like I'd expect it to, and it works in Bulldozer. But when I restart O2 the texture isn't in the window anymore, although it still shows up in Bulldozer.

I'm sure the solution is very simple but I can't figure it out.

What "window" are you talking about?
What textures? TGAs?
If its the window I'm thinking you mean, the window you drag to load the texture into before you press "B" to apply it .... I'm not surprised, I doubt it will ever survive O2 reboots.
If I ever want them back up, I select a face and press Ctrl-B

Sorry, I should have been more clear, I was refering to the left, top, front, and 3d preview windows. Anyways, ctrl+B worked, thanks. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Arh! no problem.
Always worth scanning the manual every now and then .... if you're like me you tend to learn and understand something new every time http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Oh cool, thanks. I'm definitly adding that to my favorites.

One more question though. I was looking at BI's Hummer, and I noticed it was broken into different sections, including the doors, truck, and hood. Is there any point to that?

As some parts are/can be animated, having them as seperate selections is paramount because if you animated a point (i.e. the rotation of a wheel) that is merged with another selection, distorations can occur. Having them as named selections simply helps in selecting each part quickly, without the need to CTRL+ select or CTRL- select any addition sections.
