Okay

-I've resized my ofp sections to 40x40 same as my AA island grid.

-I've repathed all the textures to the CA/myforestsection/blah blah.

-I've placed the forest sections in V3 and can see them in buldozer.

- they kinda map but it looks like they are only mapping at one point in the forest section. But the forest section stays flat...sort of like a building.

-The keep fence height is set in O2.

-class = forest , map = forest. (set in geo Lod).

It's not binned, so do I have to still bin in AA to get the O2 settings to work, or do I have to make a config, or both.

lastly when I start up AA the game crashes , could this be due to some textures not being square. ie 128x128,256x256, I might have some textures that are 256x128 or 1024x512 etc. the error I'm getting : cannot open object ca\my veg object\coolveg.p3d

Any help would be ......helpful ***http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif

Really dont know how to make forest the right way, on the otherhand i described a way of making forest in the "defining texture" post, this is not the way of doing it i think but it is a way.
downthing is that you have to have a spare ground texture which u can then only use on the places where you want forest.

Again me myself have not paid any attention to the forest stuff.

I see what you mean you make a ground texture name say forest then you config the veg that appears in that forest texture section.....that would work to I just haveto use my low poly models to keep the fps up...cool thats a totally different way of approaching it but I like it thanks......Man you've got me thinking of all sorts of ideas. Cheers
