I put the top 9 odds only due to poll restrictions, vote other and reply,
A Yoong (501.00) that why http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I don't believe in odds, the odds are 1:22 for all drivers for a race that hasn't even started yet. And I bet that all other cars will be sabotaged and Yoong will win http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

All the other cars sabotaged, but the Minadi will blow its engine on the track. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I would say that Jordan would be up in the competition this season (the car it self any way). We haven't seen what Toyota can do yet...

Nope not with the crap drivers Jordan has.

The main weak factor of a German is his lack of temperament. So the one and only solution is: put this guy into a red italian car. Who wants to beat him? Hakkinen is Scandic and the worst thing you can do with him is putting him into a boring German car. In this equation minus and minus dont make plus, but double minus http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard301/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I said the car it self, indicating that the drivers were crap.

I was talking about his Mercedes! The engineers are german, the car is german, the motor is a "Mercedes Benz" motor. Mc-Laren has not much to do with the car itself, it is managing the drivers, the logistics, the finances and so on.

(but if you insist about the car being British, what would it change in terms of temperament against the Italian Ferari?)

The engine is an Ilmor, manufactured in England.

The McLaren MP4-17 car has a Mercedes Benz F0110M V10 engine.
The car has been developed in a new state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility, TAG McLaren Group’s new headquarters and technology centre, which is currently under construction in Woking, UK.

The engine is manufactured by Ilmor but named Mercedes.

Mercedes-Motor FO 110M, produced by Ilmor, Northamptonshire, certainly, but the developement is purely based on Mercedes construction planshttp://www.rennsportnews.de/f1fahrer/fpic/raikkonen.jpgIf you dont trust me, click here! (http://de.formula1.com/teams/h1.html)! If you were british then I wouldnt have said it cause the results of this motor were so bad this year (motor exploedes at max speed) that they kicked out one engineer (Simon Armstrong) after the other!! Actually Mario Illien is afraid he is gonna lose the contract with Mercedes and Mercedes is afraid that the will loose the season with their MP4-17 . However the car performed reasonably well on Shakedown day. The austrian driver got a time of 1.21,110. which is okay, but that is not enough against a Ferari

Anyway, Hakkinen is gone now we got Raikkönen

Raikkonen will be the world champion.
