Hakkinen is Scandic and the worst thing you can do with him is putting him into a boring German car. I was talking about his Mercedes&#33; The engineers are german, the car is german, the motor is a "Mercedes Benz" motor. Mc-Laren has not much to do with the car itself, it is managing the drivers, the logistics, the finances and so on.

The McLaren MP4-17 car has a Mercedes Benz F0110M V10 engine.

The car has been developed in a new state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility, TAG McLaren Group’s new headquarters and technology centre, which is currently under construction in Woking, UK.
