Single 5: heavy metal

In Heavy Metal am I supposed to be on foot? After I drove the tank to get fixed, fueled, and armed with my men I drove to meet the other tanks. We all got out of the tank and were commanded to go to certain tanks, but I was the only one that could not get back in! WTH am I doing wrong, I have run this mission half way on foot! That can't be right! Help!

Thats a bug, it happens to me. What you have to so is get out when told to, but get back in as commander straight away.
