I'm finding the V3 Buldozer camera keys / mouse combination a complete pain.
While its easy enough to spin and zoom and change height, there seems to be no easy way to move Forward, Back, Left or Right
Using the mouse only works up to the limit of its respective movement.
The only (stupid) way seems to be to do a back and forth mouse and key shuffle using the accelerate key (left shift)
... or selecting a different area on the V3 map and returning to Buldozer.
.... or did I miss something you guys found that works ?
You didn't miss anything, but I think controls of Buldozer are not that bad. Need some getting used to, though... http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
If I want to go "somewhere else" on the map, I switch to Visitor and I'm brought to that location in Buldozer. Mouse movement is there because of object editing, you are not supposed to "travel" long distances by mouse.
Holding LShift accelerates the movement, did you try that?
If I want to goto another part of an island far away I click on an object in the location using visitor, then back to buldozer and I'm there straight away, zooming out using acceleration with shift doesnt seem to work, zooming in is ok

Ok, thanks guys. So I didn't miss anything.
They well may suit Object Placement (which I haven't got into yet), but BIS could have at least added a couple of keys similar to ALL other camera movement modes .... nm
Another thing i found is to move stuff in real time in Buldozer, select a group of objects, then alttab to dozer hold left control and then u can move the items u have selected, good for aligning footpaths or buildings etc.

I thought it was said in another thread that changes made in buldozer can't be saved ?

That's only regarding the terrain, all changes to object placement works.
