SVD Dragunov

Hey guys!

Its a project from 2 members which are in my mod "Tiberian Genesis" , one of them has left. This project was planned for OFP, but never released. So i have given to that weapon a new chance and tried it out to put it in to ArmA. And so we go on:

I have created 4 versions of it, 2x scoped, 2x unscoped (both black and normal wood)

If you put a magazine to ground, you will see a magazine instead of a bag.

Slight niggle as i'm like the biggest SVD fan. The grain of the wood is visible still andfor polymer stocks like this (http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/media2/blacksvd01.jpg) they don't have a grain :POnly a slight niggle otherwise good. And about the no scope issue why'd you think they fitted iron sights to the SVD...

Your supply officer has stolen your scope. Right when you go of to an old farmhouse in the woods to get a rusty sickle the US invade Sahrani. Most of the SLA is wiped out. All your (prime ministers) base belong to US.

Well you got enough ammo, and a hard hiting precise weapon and can check how good your eyesight actually is.

If realism is not an important issue for you and sometime in you life "you had seen a picture" of a weapon without a scope on the internet and believed it to be a standart, perhaps you boys should try BF2 or better yet Counter-Strike. Noticed that addonmaker himself didn&#39;t say anything about me "bitching and complaining". People post their addons here to be downloaded and ALSO to hear from the community. Not all the addonmakers are experts in real weaponry, I happen to know a lot about the SVD and scopes that are used on it. I wanted to share with him that info. But when little 15 year old "experts" get here and start saying that my constractive critisism is not welcome here and that i need to go and make my own addon (in other other words fuck myself), that is just wrong for any forum, especially for the one about the "ultimate combat simulator" game.

For example....If i were to just walk into a random Movie theater and yell "WE"RE ALL GONNA DIE&#33;&#33; THE BUILDINGS ON FIRE&#33;&#33;&#33;"...I would be taken to jail...your yet Racial slurs....I would be sued for everything I have,then thrown in jail...

its ok, what he said. but for this i have made 2 versions. one with scope, for the most of use and realism,and one without scope for fun. i havent also seen a unscoped one in use, only airsoft gun cause the scope was not buyable :P

Camouflage it any way you like:

Anything goes as long as the weapon controls are accessible,
the distinctive shape of the rifle is broken up and reflections
are subdued.

OK, just tried your SVD. Quickly before I get crussified here... The black version is a little too black, maybe tune it down a little or mix some gray in it. Also the sound is overpowering, perhaps tune it down 50%.
Now, I am sorry that I scared those with tender hearts on this forum and "flew off the handle" somehow. No harm was intended. Perhaps us Russian are just a little harsh for nice people of Europe. My Spartan, I mean Russian upbringing was king of harsh, so please don&#39;t be scared of evil .Communist, this honestly was my nice way of critisism. Perhaps people who say things to me like:
