Can somebody walk me through setting up a Saitek X52 to work with ArmA?
I'm having some trouble.
Just explain it to me in layman's terms.
Thank you :-).

What is your problem?
I mean i got that X52 working ingame without any problems.
Just configure in options (ArmA), which button or axis to be
used for which function.
Though the only problem i can imagine: if you have another
joystick/joypad/wheel/pedals installed it could be problems
with detecting the primary device - only one device is supported at the moment.

I haven't made or found any Saitek X52 profiles but I've certainly defined all the axis movements in ArmA's control options etc and found that enough for me. Saitek X52 is brill for controlling aircraft in ArmA. In their limited (yet enjoyable) simulated handling.

Thank you.

Hey Adam
Run the X-52 without a profile. Just use default Joystick setting from the game. you will have to setup your throttle though.
Increase thrust should say stick Z- Axis
Decrease thrust should say stick Z+ Axis
The rest should read
Bank left X- Axis
Bank right X+ axis
Left pedal Z- Rotate
Right pedal Z+ Rotate
Nose down Y-Axis
Nose up Y+ Axis
This is what my buttons are set to
Trigger or #1 fire
Fire button or #2 next target
A button or #3 Toggle weapons
B button or #4 is free at the moment
C button or #5 auto hover
D button on throttle or # 7 is zoom in
This may or may not work for you I find them handy
Also if you find the joystick to sensitive you can readup on this

good luck
