control problem

problem: my mouse gets put permanently into "look mode" (like holding alt, but all the time) so I cant' turn with the mouse. Only thing i've been able to do so far is to rejoin a server. Anyone know I get into that, or how to get out?

Have had several folks now report this problem under multiplayer since 1.08 under test. It was a problem from earlier versions of ArmA that was supposed to have been fixed now if you look at the change-log fix-lists of the patches.
But it is still happening to people.
Try using a double-tap on your ALT key, or pressing the asterisk(star) key on numeric keypad, just in case it isn't the bug. Under multiplayer that ain't usually the problem, it's just that the game is still trying to be in a vehicle, after a crash/destroy of the vehicle you're in or a lagged-out vehicle 'climb-into' taht never completed.
Only fix is to leave/rejoin the game.
SUcks as this was already supposed to have been fixed.

Happened to me twice yesterday when playing Evolution.

Game was a little laggy, entered a vehicle but did not get in, the helicopter flew away, I stayed on the ground in "look-mode". Had to reconnect :-/
