hello everybody, i' m new in this forum...

i'm experiencing a strange problem playing with ArmA:

when i try to move the soldier i press the corresponding key, but when I relese the key the soldier doesn't stop moving....it takes a lot of time to stop. i don't now the exact reason of the problem. it 's quite impossible to play ArmA

my pc configuration:

processor: amd athlon 64 3000+, 1,8 Ghz

ram memory: 2 Gb

video card: ati radeon x550 series, 512 mb ddr with driver & catalist updated

audio card: realtek ac 97 audio

arma version: arma 1.01 chezk

directx: 9.0c

I hope you will find the solution for my problem...bye!!

Possibly your PC is too old to play ArmA, hence when you release the button takes your PC a while to realise its not being pressed? How does the game run for you in general? Whats your average FPS? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

How about updating your ArmA maybe this will fix some of your probs.

arma plays normally but i had to set up the graphics options lo low levels....

sorry. but what do you mean for FPS average? does it means fotogram per second, does it means with the frequancy in hertz?

here i am again...

i discovered that using a joestick the problem seems to be solved....what does it means? maybe i have some problems with the keyboard?
