Question About Campaign Cheat

I've completed the campaign, but now I want to unlock all the missions that I missed or didn't do like some of the side-missions. If I use the campaign cheat will it revert my current campaign to the beggining once I quit or will the missions I beat still appear on the list?

Afaik it does'nt affect it, if you quit and load the game back up ... but don't hold my word to it! But if your going to use the cheat anyway I don't see the issue ... I mean you'll know you finished the game?
