On my dedicated server I have multiple IP's
I want to run the dedicated server not on my first IP and I want to run more dedicated servers each on his own IP address.

I know how to define a port but how do I define an IP address on which the game should run on?

when you refer top your dedicated server having multiple IP's do you mean you have ONE server with multiple NIC's, each with their own IP?

If this is the case then the Arma dedicated server will use the default interface (NIC) that routes to the internet.

Im not sure if you can run concurrent Dedicated servers but if you can you will have to set it up on a nonstandard port (i.e not 2303) for any other dedicated server you setup to avoid conflicts.

Multiplayer seems more appropriate.

No he means there is 1 NIC and on that NIC there are multiple IP's present. The server is located in a datacenter, NOT at home, so multiple IP's is very normal on a dedicated server.
For example the IP's on 1 NIC of the server are:
123.456.789.1
123.456.789.2
123.456.789.3
123.456.789.4
123.456.789.5
How do you get the game to run and listen only on IP 123.456.789.3

Now the game runs on an IP of it own choosing, this results that only 1 of the 2 servers which are installed are visible in the listing but they are both running on the server. (you can connect to both if you connect directly to the IP)

Of course al IP's work, only the config of the game does not seem to get a long with it.

It does not matter if you run several servers on the same ip.
They will all be listed in gamespy.

If you really want to accomplish this then you need to route the status packets sent to gamespy through the different interfaces. How to do this depends on what operating system you're using.

Why not use the same IP with different ports?

Because the server has multiple IP's. also we can connect using a domain name instead of an IP

Also the problem what we are having is not gone what we are having. The server now switches to an IP of it's own choosing, we cannot define it that it stays on that IP.

Also we are having an other problem and that is that the game automatically disappears from the gamespy list after a short while, the server is still online and can be played on (if you know the IP) but is no longer listed in gamespy lists. When you restart the gameserver is is visible again for a short while and then it again disappears.

Hi,

Has there been any solution to this? We're having the same problem with our server.

Cheers,
Axek.
