Oki i never made a post about this mission before but it seems to be very popular on a lot of servers so i decided to make a big update to the mission.

Backlash .. 2.2 Update! [NEW]
The Mission:

North Sahrani Occupation has captured a port and radio tower, they are using the radio to broadcast unlawful propaganda to the civilian population.

Whats New in v2.4
- Updated Kronzky Urban Patrol Script
- Fixed Bridge Blowing Up Before Player Got there and had a chance to fight and get across
- Fixed some Scripts made it more user friendly
- Took out the quickmap
- Added some Extras from patch 1.05
- Removed Time and Weather Sync

[b]Whats NEW in 2.2
- Updated Anti Team Kill Scripts
- JIP Compatible, Time + Weather Sync
- New Options At Start of Mission
- Bridge Now Gets Destroyed By Enemy If your too late
- Added Spectating Script 1.0
- Made some script improvements
- Ending Now Happens when team gets to LZ

Whats new in 2.0
- 3 Objectives
- Max players is now 16
- Weather Settings
- Spectator Script 1.4
- Anti Team kill Scripts
- NS Lite

You're coop missions are usually good.
Going to test it on SES-testserver first.

Just to let everyone know:

ALL SERVERS THAT ARE RUNNING THE OLD VERSION take it off.. its doesnt end.. and without an voteable admin your server is stuck with that mission..

SO UPDATE to new mission asap!

Yeah the weather seemed to be differnt for everyone but now since i just fixed it http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wow_o.gif all should be working and everyones weather should be the same.

Matt,

Thanks for the great mission. A few things, when loading the mission I get an error about downloadable content not available? Is this something to do with a script that I need to install? I think it might have to do with the quickmap possibly. The other thing is, respawn is not enabled on this mission is it?

BTW, last post says 2.2a fixes weather. But download says 2.2b? Does 2.2b have another fix?

Was playing 2.2b last night. No matter what we did, by the time we got to the bridge it was blown up. Before we even took a shot or any enemy spotted us the bridge was out.

We were using 1.04 UK version and nondedicated server.

its probably me being stupid.... but I cant seem to enter the humvees at the spawn??? I couldnt enter the truck in the old version either, is it because I'm running 1.04?

We couldn't either. Just assumed that was a design decision.

Thats impossible.

The Bridge only blows up when the tank from the reinforcements marker gets to the bridge and the only way that tank can get to the bridge is if the enemy at the bridge detects the west units.

With it being a nondedicated server im guessing the AI works properly and therefore is faster and doing what it needs to do unlike the buggy dedicated server AI. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wow_o.gif

We couldn't either. Just assumed that was a design decision.
No the vehicles are locked. Its just eye candy to show how you got to that position in the first place.

We take out a few guys then the BMP2 from the other side of the bridge comes and either drives through the broken bridge into the water, or goes around the broken bridge in the water.

I love this map especially when playing with fellow GOL members, moving down along the coast, meeting under the bridge then launching a fast assault from both sides of the bridge (With silenced weapons of course http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif ) taking those guys out, moving across the bridge, spread out on both sides, then depending on how many team members we have either following the road and hitting the base first or going along the coast to the left to the tower.
