Each time we load a 1.02 missions on our 1.04 dedicated server, our server stop the loading with this error :
"You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted."
Afte checkin the logs, here what i found :
Addon caweapons3_aks74pso (entry aks74pso) not found in the list of active addons.
All missions not having the caweapons3_aks74pso addons in load array, wont work on 1.04 server.
To fix this i had to open my olds missions, and export them again to add the addons in the missions addons list.
It's a pain if you have more than 100 missions to reedit.

I get the same issue. I did have German 1.02 installed, uninstalled and then installed UK version. Deleted the Arma Folder in between.
Still get the error. Also deleted my config files in my docs incase these were causing it.
My mate, who is using a clean install UK version, on vista can load the same mission files in the editor and export and the mission works on dedi 1.04. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/mad_o.gif Any help please.
Hi all
To L etranger
You might consider using a GREP tool as all the replacements are the same. Stick all the game files in the same folder and let GREP do the changes for you. It should not take you more than about 2 minutes.
http://www.tucows.com/search?....multi=b (http://www.tucows.com/search?search_terms=grep&search_scope=win&search_adv=0&search_size=&search_size_multi=b)
http://www.wingrep.com/download.htm
or do a google search
A GREP tool should be a standard tool in any ArmA editors armoury. Whether making missions, editing scirpts or creating addons and editing configs.
Be care full with a GREP tool though!
GREP tools when used for replacement of text are Very Very powerful. Back up the stuff you want to replace the text with. NB Make sure you work in one folder only. Make sure you know what you are doing. Given half a chance a GREP tool can mince everything on a hard drive, if miss used. If in doubt ask for some advice.

Sad to hear about your problem. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif
As a temporary work around have your mate do the transfers for you. For 20 missions it should not take more than an hour and you can both share your missions so you will both get an increase in missions out of it.

Strange, I get this error to as a client (old De version, installed Fr above De without deleting) but it doesn't stop me from playing the missions anyway

Same issue (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=71;t=58128) maybe:)
Should only affect missions with Especas Marksman in it.

I have this same issue on my dedicated server also.
Although, it all plays ok when hosting a mission locally via LAN/INTERNET.
- This appears to be just a dedicated server issue, that will most likely be fixed in v1.05. (i hope)
Replacing files and making these changes for missing scripts is pre-mature. I would wait for the 1.05 dedicated server to see if this issue is fixed.
Missing addons dues to name changes ... I would fix though.

I fixed this error, i just removed the addons out of the section in the mission.sqm and reopened it in the editor and re exported it.
Still dont help ppl who dont edit the maps though.
Cheers
