Nice. I like that. I don't know the colour of that ugly stuff to know if it's a perfect colour match, but your units look great!

In real life I remember it looking more tan than in that picture, with a pinkish brown in it. Such an ugly cammo.

Impressive, Simpson. I can't wait to get UK/US ArmA just by looking all these excellent reskins. Kudos on your first attempt.

Huuh, i don't know what you speak about?
Multicam is great, ... maybe the skin need less color saturation or more brown part, but so far its great. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/yay.gif

Much more useful as ACU, even in the dersert, and particularly in towns & in the field. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Only Flecktarn is better. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge2.gif

McWrong, Auscam shites on everything.

Nice multicam anyway, I should say. You can actually make the pattern out, unlike some games <cough> GRAW <cough>.

They look good, but are far too clean, and not faded enough. I've seen them once or twice in person, and like the ACU, they fade a good bit if one doesn't use Cheer, for some odd reason.

In my opinion, the best camo patern for Sahrani.

Great Job

No Multicam shites on AusCam. AusCam is for a specific area (desert Australia) while Multicam can work much much better. I know some Soldiers while I was in Benning last year and they said that they were able to get up to 30m without being seen during some testing, and AusCam would make you stick out in the woods, Multicam doesn't. It does what it's advertised. It's a great system http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

If this thread is dead I apologize, but I just wanted to say, these are my favorite units in ArmA. The camo is perfect for just about every situation.

I just noticed this... hahahaha! [thread hijack].

There are two types of Auscam, you know? Certainly, desert Auscam would make you stick out in a forest. Observe:

http://www.henrikc.dk/camouflage/australia_desert_mk3_pattern.jpg

However, standard Auscam, or DCPU as we know it...

http://www.henrikc.dk/camouflage/australia_auscam_pattern.jpg

or

http://www.henrikc.dk/camouflage/australia_auscam_back.jpg

Stick out in a forest, eh. Yeah. Hmm. Right. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/icon_rolleyes.gif A rock forest, maybe. Thus, Auscam variants in their designed environs still shit on Multicam. 'Nuff said.

I think they need to be de saturated a little to be honest, i've got a Multicam boonie and some multicam trousers that i use at work and they are faded down some.

But these skins are my uniform of choice now...

good work.

The one time I posted a pic as a post, I was given a +1WL.

I wonder if this will happen for others as well who do it MORE than once.

Of course I would never question the modding outloud here, im just talking to myself.

Great multicam btw. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/thumbs-up.gif

The Polish stuff is apparently a non-licensed copy, similar,
but not identical, to "real" Multicam.

Yeh your right a 'similar version' was adopted by GROM awhile ago and it appears to be slowly getting around to other units. Good to see.

Sorry for bringing back such an old topic but I have to say that.
As you all already know it is EXTREMELY hard to put a Working Universal Camoflage into a game.
It is because it's only a texture, not really affected by different weather conditions even with modern virtual technologies. (Oh yeah it's still 32-bit)
Multicam is great camoflage, it is way better than ACU (both are universal ones). And it looks better. I think that nowadays US Rangers use it. Also Polish forces like border guards or GROM have it.
In terrain like Afghan you are invisible and I saw many pictures which drove me crazy because I couldn't find a guy (later it turned out he was standing about 10m from camera...)
And about addon. It is way too dark. The Multicam is more tan than wdl...
And for everyone that thinks that Multicam is useless I suggest to wear bright red uniform with bullseye on chest and head.
