Error Deleting File or Folder

Until/If BIS manage to give us a patch so we can delete mpmissions while the dedicated server is still running, maybe you could use this program....Unlocker (http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/)

Its installed on the SuicidESquad server and now we can delete/modify missions while the server is still running, although you will obviously need some kind of windows remote access to your servers.

Well after some testing it seems to crash server after choosing a replaced mission, so not so useful!

Seems ok if you just want to delete a mission without shutting the server full of players, though not replacing a mission with the same name.

I dont think this will be fixed... was the same in OFP: every file gets loaded and is thus in use.
And its maybe a bit safer: deleting the current running mission isnt a good idea http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Sorry but thats not what I was saying.

deleting missions is fine as long as its obviously not the current one being played, but you cant replace missions at all while the server is running, which was fixed in OFP!

I can confirm that a dedicated OFP server would allow missions to be deleted as long as it was not the currently loaded mission.

You could definitely delete inactive missions while the OFP server was on. I update missions frequently, so I really need this to work with ArmA.
