DZ = Drop Zone
DMZ = DeMilitarized Zone
ROE = Rules Of Engagement
SP = Start Point
FUP = Forming Up Point
AO = Area of Operations
AFB = Air Force Base
AD = Armoured Division
TOC = Tactical Operations Center
SF = Special Forces
CI = Counter Intelligence
PL = Patrol Leader
IFV = Infantry Fighting Vehicle (like the Bradley, which really isn't an APC)
FSB = Forward Support Batallion
XO = Executive Officer
